Description
The SS2-50P is a plug / inlet box in the American NEMA series, built into an IP66 surface-mount enclosure. It carries a NEMA SS2-50P configuration rated 50A / 125V/250V (3 pole, 4 wire, grounding type), and uses a flame-retardant, UV-resistant polycarbonate housing with a lockable transparent cover so the pin configuration can be checked without opening the lid.

Enclosure & installation
- 1. Entries in the enclosure must be machined with a hole saw or a similar tool.
- 2. When mounting, the 220/10 caps must be glued into the bosses to keep the IP rating.
- 3. Tighten the cover screws to 0.5 N·m. If this is exceeded the IP rating may be invalid.
- 4. The conduit entry should be edged with a suitable sealant such as PVC glue.
- 5. Enclosure: 84.00 mm × 101.00 mm face, mounting hole centres 40.50 mm, conduit entries 2 × M25×1.5 and 1 × M32×1.5.
